The Point Pleasant Shale Play is looking like it may produce large amounts of oil and wet gas for Lake County Ohio. This means landowners in Lake County and surrounding areas will benefit financially from the new oil and gas boom invading northeast Ohio.

According to new research from The Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, The Point Pleasant Shale Play has abundant oil and gas.
